Tobi: Hey Chris, how are you?
Chris: Hi Tobi. I'm doing well, thanks. Just packing up for Australia...

Tobi: Can you tell us something about your biography? How old are you? Where do you live? Do you have any siblings? ....
Chris: Absolutely... I grew up skiing at Mammoth Mountain. I am 21 years old. I currently live here in Mammoth. And yes, I have a brother. We live together and ride very often. He kills it at snowboarding, which makes it great having family to shred with..

Tobi: Who is your idol in skiing? Do you have any other idols e.g. in any other sports?
Chris: That's tough. I idolize a lot of people in skiing for different reasons. I idolize Eric Pollard, Pep Fujas, Tanner Hall, and Jp Auclair. And yes a lot of people outside of skiing inspire me- Bob Marley, Tom Penny, Kelly Slater, and Nicolas Muller..

Tobi: How was your season and what are your plans for this summer or next season? Will we eventually see you in Switzerland e.g. at the freestyle.ch?
Chris: My season went well, considering. I broke my Collarbone twice, so I had a lot of hours on the couch. But aside from that it was great. I skied deep powder. Filmed with all my close friends. Designed a pro model ski with Atomic. And gained more life experience.
Plans for this summer... I am headed to Australia and Chile to film for the 5th webisode and to test my pro model and make sure it's all dialed. As for next season, I will continue filming with Hunting Yeti and Poorboyz Productions. And for the Freestyle.ch, I'm not going to make it this year, but hopefully in the future.

Tobi: So, we all know that you have been working with the others from Nimbus Independent for the new webisode, which is coming out on 15th of August! What can we see in this webisode?
Chris: Well.. Eric, Pep, Myself, and a couple of our friends did a surf trip to Mexico. Andy unfortunately couldn't make it due to a softball accident. He busted out a few teeth. But, we decided it was time to document a trip away from the snow and give Pollard a rest from 22-hour days of editing, while at the same time capturing some third world traveling.. You can expect to see rattlesnakes, donkeys, surfing, rallying rental cars, attempting to speak Spanish, and much much more.

Tobi: What was your favorite trip/spot in this project till now? Will there be more webisodes, or is the fourth the last?
Chris: I would say my best trip was Whistler. We had really deep snow, and really big jumps. And no, there is one last webisode that will have Argentina, Australia, and Chile. I can't wait to get back on the skis.

Tobi: What are you doing, if you’re not on the snow?
Chris: I have been catching up on life back home. Spending time with my girlfriend, organizing receipts, and designing things for Atomic and Sessions.

Tobi: Do you have a girlfriend? Or how many girls do you have? Haha
Chris: Haha.. Yeah, I only have one.. She is a gem.

Tobi: If you had to live in a zoo, which animal would you like to be? :)
Chris: A tiger. I have been fascinated with them since I was a little boy. I love how agile, strong, and pretty they are.

Tobi: Okay Chris, thank you for this interview and I wish you a good next season!
Chris: Thanks a lot Tobi. I was happy to do it. Hope to see you out on the slopes... Cheers.
